Hi, In the attached save I routed 5C58 to signal 303 on the Up Fast to let it reverse at North Outer (652). However... it does not reverse at signal 652 as scheduled but at 304. Is this a sim or a TT issue? Does the location have to be North Inner to reverse at 652, and if yes, why can 652 be selected as platform for North Outer reverse? Sim 1.7, Loader 4.14, pre-2012 era. Outer Reverse is signal 656, on DFL. 650/652 are Inner Reverse. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Jams is correct. The TT location in the view TT window is cut short because only the first 24 characters of the location are shown. In this case, it cuts of the rest of the location name which when looking in the TT editor is Quote: York north outer (reverse Y656) Looking in the TT editor is the only current way to see the full location name, though is only helpful of your are playing single player, or are the host. I made a request back in 2018 on the back of playing York myself and not being able to read the full location name, for if the location column could be extended to see the full location name. Okay, I just checked the TT editor and it shows '652' as the only possible platform for the outer reverse: And given trains reverse at 304 without any problem when routed that way, maybe the timing point should be renamed to York north outer (reverse Y656/304). In any case, having 656 (or 304) as platform would make more sense than 652 where the train won't stop. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I should be noted in your save that the train isn't stopped at 304, it's inside the home signal (which is has calling-on, not shunt). Shunting activities rarely call wrong route as they can work under movement authorities.
