I am unable to to send any coal trains into Ratcliffe from the north to lines A & B. Line C has seen some traffic out. When I place a call to Ratcliffe I get the response "Lines are disconnected at the south end" i.e the dust lines F & DD. I am unable to find any way of reconnecting these lines. Any suggestions?

The tracks at the south end of the power station have been lifted - see google maps http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=ratcliffe&sll=56.000819,-3.826482&sspn=0.017854,0.055747&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Ratcliffe+on+the+Wreake,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.860418,-1.260611&spn=0.00241,0.006968&t=h&z=18 - but the junction still appears on the real panel.

I think this message appears if both A and B lines are occupied, or, alternatively, some bug causes the simulation to think both tracks are occupied. In that case, the power station controller probably presumes you've just arrived with your time machine from a past in which the south end entrance was still connected, so he informs you of the current situation.

on a related note, I have found that Ratcliffe can hold trains at lines A and B for an indefinite period of time - I have observed trains (in the sim) being held for two hours or more. Have I made some sort of error, and can this be fixed? thank you for your help Log in to reply |

It sounds like you havn't called for acceptance. You need to ring the power station (Using the phone icon) and ask them if they can accept the train. They will then tell you which line to send it in on, A or B. I would suggest spending 5 mins to look at the manual.. http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:mans:trent it will save youy time and effort trying to find a solution to a problem that doesn't actually exist!
