There has been criticism of the London Bridge simulation being just too big, even with ARS. We are therefore wondering if next year we could produce a cut down version of London Bridge that would also be cheaper than the full simulation. People with licenses for the full simulation would also get the lite version for free (but not vice versa!).
Thanks.
Can I just add that if people have offered criticism of London Bridge being too big even with ARS then I'm sure they will find Three Bridges even more of a challenge! Maybe it's time to put an advisory on the sims depending on the level of skill needed from Easy to Medium to Hard with London Bridge falling under Hard, Royston falling under Easy and Peterborough/Rugby falling under Medium?
I have just looked at the Three Bridges simulation (with a view to purchase) and I agree that this looks like one hell of a challenge.
I rather think that the suggestion regarding a “Lite” version of London Bridge is a very good idea and wonder if I might suggest the same for the Three Bridges sim.
For example, as there is already a simulation for Brighton, perhaps a “Lite” version of Three Bridges sim could cover Panels 1 to 4, Norwood Junction to Three Bridges. Even that would be quite a challenge, but more manageable.
Are there any other thoughts?

I realise that this may entail a great deal of work for the developers, but wonder if it would be at all possible. If not, I’ll just hope that I don’t get in too much of a mess playing the current version when I get around to buying it.

Thanks

Just removing Panels 5 & 6 would really be pointless as a mini sim.

If and it is a big if Geoff decided to create one, I would have thought that to fit the criteria as a mini sim, then just panels 1A 1B & 1C would be ideal

As a suggestion for Three Bridges "Lite":

Given the amount of panels on there, possibly 2 versions of Lite?

Meld's suggestion, then everything between there and Redhill, then Gatwick-Brighton?

I understand that it would mean more work splitting the sim up and changing things to make it doable, but a possible idea incase people (like myself) enjoy working Gatwick-Brighton, without the rest there? Saves getting plenty of "xxxx entered without permission" when you have ARS on for the panels that you do not use.

I wasn't actually thinking of a 'mini' sim as such. Just suggested omitting Panels 5 & 6 to make it a bit less hectic and get a discussion going, so to speak.
Having said that, maybe Panels 1A, B, C, 2 and 3 would be quite interesting as a 'stand alone' sim. Not too small and not too big.

I won't be holding my breath though and will be purchasing the sim quite soon anyway. Just have to wait for a bit more dosh.
