If I may venture a guess...No, I will not. Here's hoping for the best, whatever occasion it might has been. Last edited: 16/01/2020 at 06:27 by JWNoctis Reason: Grammar Log in to reply |

I've noticed it is in the loader, was it always there? (it may just be I am having a silly moment)

Here's hoping. Dave Log in to reply The following user said thank you: UKTrainMan |

I just spotted this one and is of interest having recently watched the Don Coffey cab ride from Tunstead to Crewe. Wondered what the current status of the route is? Any possibility of the existing version being released as freeware pending updates or is the situation more complicated. Otherwise how long does the demo session last, please? Edit: Answered my own question - 15 minutes. Not even enough to scratch the surface of what looks to be a fascinating simulation. Please give us some hope that whatever the issues are can be resolved and the product made available once more. Otherwise leaving it in the menu forever as demo only just serves to torment potentially interested customers! I get that but the irony is the route selection screen still prompts to go and buy it! That ought to be changed to a message regretting it is no longer available. I'm still curious as to why, though it appears no one wants to say. (Feel free to PM me if it's a touchy subject). Ah well, it is what it is - guess I'll have to put my own version of the area together in one of the driving sims. Vern Log in to reply |

I know SimSig has a firm policy of not giving in to "the mob", but this seems a real shame to me, if I may say so. Peak District might almost be the perfect sim and it's certainly one of my all time favourites. This is coupled to 58050's incredible timetable (on whom the decision appears a little unfair from the outside looking in, as that timetable is a tour de force). If I had the will or the way to write timetables I have to admit it would certainly put me off if I thought that the sim I was writing it for could be withdrawn at any time for reasons unspecified.

On a happier note, here is a link to Don's excellent video that covers much of the area: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEPXMmjtvPs Vern Log in to reply |
