Hi peeps A query that I've got during testing. According to diagrams and CWN, some SN peak West Croydon's to London Bridge were 10 car 377's formed of 377/3 377/3 377/2 and in 2012 were tt'd to use P1. As in the sim P1 in 10m too short (assume it's the correct length) for this formation does anyone know what used to happen at the time with these SNs. (I know nowadays SN's use turnback and P3 but in 2012 SN's used P1 LO's used the turnback and P3.) I should really know being a yocal but only ever catch from ECR Cheers Gareth Log in to reply |

Is it an aberration in the CWN? All references to platform length at West Croydon show it as 194m without any evidence of it being lengthened at any point

The CWN is correct - I'm not sure what the revised length of platform 1 at WCY was made out to be, but a 10.377 formation definitely fits - and I do recall the 2012 peak workings when the 377/6 fleet were new to Southern. 20 years of Simsigging Log in to reply The following user said thank you: TimTamToe |

In light of this is it possible to put it on to Mantis for the TC length to be changed in a next update to the sim Cheers Gareth Log in to reply The following user said thank you: bri2808 |

Sorry Gareth forgot to mention I’d stuck it on mantis earlier, John has quoted the ticket number.

My memory is a little hazy, but I’m sure you could always fit a 10car in the bay but not 2X5car or any or 6 on 4 or vice versa as there was no standing distance between the cabs until the buffer stops were pushed back.
