Hi I'm new to SimSig, but have made some progress running the Huddersfield simulation. However, as most people seem to recommend starting with the Royston simulation, I decided I would follow their advice! but ...... I am struggling to download Royston v4.1. I have used the "check for updates" but I get a message saying "This simulation uses features not supported by this version of the loader. You need to update your loader". I thought I was updating the loader when I checked for updates (and chose automatic) ? Any help / advice would be much appreciated - Thanks! When you start the loader, does the "Welcome to Simsig" screen show in the bottom left, version V4.15.1 ? If not, you may to need to reinstall the loader: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/852# Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Thanks Jamie No - it shows v4.6.9 on the Welcome to SimSig page. when i go to reinstall the loader ...details/852, it still shows the exe file as v4.6.9. I've tried searching for v4.15.1 but can't find anything ... Log in to reply |

After you have re-installed does the check for updates button work any differently?

I believe that the version of the loader prior to 4.6.9 had an error in its updater with the refresher meaning that it couldn't update in the same way beyond that version. This meant that Geoff had to put a new download up for the system files. I've reinstalled the version of the system files that Jaime has linked to and it will successfully update you to the latest version of 4.15.1 Log in to reply The following user said thank you: GCSignals |
