2015 TT What's the deal with 5D02? 5D04 comes in and then drops 1G00 off the back. Now 5D02 wants to join, but 1G00 is in the way (and not departing until later). Attempting to run 5D04 through the station to join on the front of 5D02 result in 5D04 just stopping on the thru line and waiting for 5D02 Last edited: 29/06/2020 at 20:34 by headshot119 Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Ok, so I think I figured out what should happen... 5D02 wants to get to the platform first. I guess in my save 5D04 was just running super early as it was already in the platform before 5D02 entered the sim.

How do you get 6L65 out of the Ellesmere Port Goods Siding? It is stopped at EL 57 but I can't route it out to platform 2.

It looks like you have to back set it - set EP43 to EP61, wait for it to show proceed, then set EP57 to EP43. Hi Chester 2015-04-08sx loader 5.12 latest chester sim the 1H88 at 13.48 rockliffe chester crewe is tt routed at chester south jcn to up slow for p4 which is impossible as it needs tt amending to up fast to p4. Only a small error. Great sim and enjoying it.

Weird shunt moves not working 5d33 shunts east of station on trafford line and goes down through no problem then when sent to south junction on up slow line stops at sig 105. It cannot get to p2 except on uf not us. Got 2 saves before and after dt move. I suggest either north jcn shunt 404 or down slow sig 49 to p2. Problem is rockcliffe entry 1k92 for p7 goes us at south jcn conflict with 5d33 if in down slow shunt. Why no trains tt for roodee jcn to go us and not south jcn? 3s92 is unaffected if shunt 5d33 to north jcn. Also general note if train for p3 stops at 3a for divide there is rear train over points, but if routed to 3b it blocks p2 entry. Also when train leaves having divided the 3a signal 81 does not clear and gives 120 locking even though the rear at 3a is going other way. This basically stops routing into p2. Attached saves. Loader 5.13 standard Chester 2015/04/08 sx perfect condtions normal. Any help or suggestions welcome/

I've raised a ticket to adjust 5D33 to reverse at Chester North Junction to allow it to get into its booked platform. Mid platforms signals timing out when a train hasn't fully passed them is prototypical, but I'm struggling to understand what you mean about trains in 3B blocking P2, unless you mean until the overlap times out? Sorry did not explain clearly enough. I had a train go to platform 3 and divide with front going rockliffe and back going back to crewe. Trains divides ok but the overlap never times out from 3a to 3b and a train is due in p2 before the 3a train leaves for rockliffe. Option is to delay ps train in until p3 train left for rockliffe and you pull the mid platform signal. If the dividing train is only signalled to 3a to allow ps train in then it still divides which leaves the overhanging train fouling points to p1 and no way to signal back to crewe. Just a query as well why no trains ever use the rodee jcn to go up slow to p7 or any train not going down slow unless to shunt back into the sidings on ds.

1D12 is the oddity here. I'm playing Chester chained to North Wales Coast and North East Wales. 1D12 originates from North East Wales (& Shrewsbury which I'm not playing), as a 158, 6 car toward Chester then to Holyhead. On its return from Holyhead as 1G50 to Bham Int via Chester, it's booked into Platform 2 where it doesn't fit and the realisation that its come over with an incorrect length. On Chester and North Wales Coast, it's booked as a 2-car 158 On North East Wales and Shrewsbury it's booked as a 6-car 158 Now looking back through more of the Sims: The train originates from Welshpool as a 2-car 158, as 1G07 before joining 2J44 (4-car 158) to become a 6-car 158 and then heading to Wellington and on towards Wolverhampton. It continues through Wolverhampton to Bham International and then come back as 1D12 still as a 6-car 158 towards Wolverhampton and hence Wellington. However When 1D12 arrives at Shrewsbury, it uncouples 1G31 (which is a 4-car 158), and proceeds on towards North East Wales as a 2-car, which has been missed on North East Wales. Log in to reply |

I believe John has already got this in hand for a future update on North East Wales / Shrewsbury. If not earlier they'll probably ship when Crewe is released.

2C32 - Y60135S, does not have its next working (2C38 - Y60150) listed in the notes section I thought this was a great addition to the timetable as you didn't have to keep going to F2 to find what was plunging/TRTS Log in to reply |
