I'm having trouble getting the trains to stop in the right place for A/B/M. For example, at the start of the 2015-04-08 SX timetable there is 2A14 approaching New Street scheduled for platform 9A, so I set a route to signal 187. However, when the train stops, it records its location as 9M and on the Performance Panel it indicates an incorrect platform. Something similar happens with 1Y91 (scheduled for platform 7A). I'll look into it. M is more for guidance, as in its the middle of 3 trains, each of which could be 1 car, or 2 cars, or 3 cars etc, meaning the middle train could be exactly centred, or mostly on the A end, or mostly on the B end. In other words, it varies. A and B ends are easier as you either signal up to the mid platform signal, or all the way to the end. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

If theres something coming through the B end booked to the A end but theres also another service that needs to double dock in the A end. Its all about the stopping positions. There is little choice but to set stopping position of the first arrival through B end in such a way that you can get the other in on top, sometimes this will show as a M sometimes it wont. I'll take a further look after Geoff's looked into it Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!! Log in to reply |

There was a request a while ago to add platforms as alternatives for scoring purposes, which I think was prompted by New St.
