"08:56:46 5Z36 passed Hilmorton Jn 7 min(s) early"

Should be Hillmorton Jn.

Loader 5.6

Interestingly it's not consistent across sources, which is probably why the sim has both versions. Open Train Times has it as a single L too, so I wonder if we happened to use the same source with a single L rather than an L.

Anyway, Mantis 31367 and I'll make it consistently LL as that appears to be the most common spelling.

In canal circles it's a double L, for sure.

It wouldn't be the first time a railway location is spelled differently to local landmarks/towns... Wolvercote town and Wolvercot Junction, for example! Hyphenation (or lack thereof) is another one.

(FWIW I am 99% in agreement with LL for Hillmorton)

There is a board next to the real-life junction that says "Hillmorton Junction".

Turn my head with talk of summertime...

And there are official railway documents that list it as Hilmorton Junction, hence my comments earlier.

Realtime Trains lists it as Hillmorton, albeit it is not an industry source.

Haha! There's another site I use which I can't remember the name of, but that says Hillmorton too.

Yes, but my point is, we're not using fansites for this information. Thanks to MELD we have located at least one source where it came from: BPLAN from Network Rail's own website, though I note it has been changed since.

Anyway, the sim has been changed and (along with a number of other fixes) is being tested.
