While controlling Panel 10B during the West Hampstead/Vic SE chain this evening (thanks again for the host, James), I noticed that the last signal towards Maidstone prior to Kemsing clears to green as soon as a train has left the Sim. I've attached a few screenshots that show the change - one with train 6B05 in the Kemsing station section and the other few seconds later once it has passed the first signal under Maidstone control. This also occurs with the first signal towards Rochester after Longfield. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

I'm not 100% familiar with the area however, I can guess it may be a 2 aspect signal (e.g. only RG) hence the immediate clearing

It's quite a common small flaw, you see it in a few sims when trains leave the simulation, sometimes, depending on how they're implemented, the train will immediate fall off and your last signal will clear immediately. It just depends how the fringe area is handled and how much of what's next is simulated (or not) under the surface. Log in to reply |

The other end can be seen on Maidstone East: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Media/Wiki/%2Fsimulations%2Fmaidstone_east%2Fmaidstone_east.pdf There are no distants in the area. AJP in games Log in to reply |
