Running the 1991 timetable, I've brought 6O75 in from the branch into platform 1, and set the route forward from WH475 to WH349 for the overlength train to run round.

After detachment, 0O75 moves forward to behind WH644 to change ends.

WH475 at this point still has a route set from it - I pull this up and receive the 120 second approach locking.

The scene attached is where I'm left at. Both WH475 and WH615 running dummy are 'on' but the route remains set, and failures are off, I cannot through the points at Bedford North Junction either.

Edit; I have tried (in desperation) to adjust the length of 6O75 to get it to clear the route, it should be 308m minus loco.

Further edit: I then asked 0O75 to reverse to do a long shunt via Sharnbrook - WH615 then clears but has not been pulled by me (cannot cancel route).

Route finally clears after 6O75 departs having successfully run route the long way.

You need to route to the the GPL at the north end of bedford (WH615), and then out from that over Bedford North Junction. the route is locked because its been set as a main aspect and the interlocking isn't satisfied that the route is clear. WH615 was provided specifically for this purpose.
