Recursive bug report: TW49 claimed by both sims; exactly one should have XSB=T When chaining West Yorkshire to Leeds E/W , and then West Yorkshire to Leeds Ardsley Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Thanks. Mantis 32533 under West Yorkshire for the moment; might get split out if the other sims are the culprits. Basically it's a track circuit that both sims want to be the boss of, for chaining purposes, but only one should be. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Just now it will need to be investigated and make sure the other sims are also behaving. A fix will be made to the respective sim(s) and will be pushed out as an update once the fix has been done. Unfortunately just got to bare with us until it is ready. It's on Mantis and attention will be given to it. I've got the same thing on Saltley and Derby. I can start a separate thread if you wish Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

It isn’t a new issue, it will have always been there. Loader 5.9 under Mantis 31270 introduced a check that is now reported as you see. Both issues mentioned in this thread are sim data issues, and both are in mantis for developer attention, Geoff has posted the ticket numbers above. Log in to reply |

I've previously (2 months ago?) changed derby and Saltley without any issues. It's not a new issue, but an additional check by the Loader which has exposed a few existing sim issues. One sim or the other sim is the master for each object that is shared between sims. While there was a check that *something* claimed to be the master, there wasn't a check (until now) that *only* one was the master. For some object types (eg tracks) nothing untoward would have happened anyway, but we like to be as bug free as possible. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

It is not playable as it keeps coming back as errors during play

Would you happen to have a save just prior to the error occurring, or as close as possible?

Hi all - I've found a similar bug when chaining Leeds East/West and Leeds Ardsley together, getting the message 'Non-described train in berth 3897' every time a train leaves Leeds EW on the Down Shipley. It's not rendering the chained sims unplayable but given the volume of trains leaving the area on the Down Shipley, it's a tad grating! 😣 Please could someone investigate using the saved games attached. I'm using loader v5.16.1, Leeds EW v5.0 and Leeds Ardsley v1.12. The timetable in the saves is 15/10/09 0000 Start (although I've seen it on another timetable so suspect that's not the issue). Thanks, Iain Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Leeds North West was not chained (go figure!). I tried Leeds EW without anything chained and with York chained, no errors occurred. Didn't try chaining West Yorkshire as chaining Ardsley generated the error. Iain Log in to reply |

It is definitely an odd one. I can confirm never to have had this issue when chaining the sims, although I haven't done so since recent updates.

Indeed something not quite right there. I've had a look about and chained all three Leeds sims together and ran E/W on it's on and there's no issue. Why Leeds A is triggering this will be looked into.
