Hi all, Does anyone know what these signals are for. I pass them semi-regularly and I am sure they are always unlit. It's been bugging me for years, but a recent trip has reminded me of them. They are on the Up Filton, after Lawrence Hill. Any ideas? Thanks dh Log in to reply |

Would I be right in thinking that I've seen some of these signals erected at Castle Cary station as well? If not here, I've seen them somewhere

There used to be one on the ECML Up Slow just south of Stevenage. I think it was by the big electrification cabinet just south of Langley Jn. That's about 400m south of the turnout for Lafarge Aggregates, so that's plausible.
