Timetable is 95% complete and will be released once tested. Back in July/August 2019 Acton Grange Jn was closed for a major junction renewal which saw it closed for 16 Days from 20th July to 5th August 2019. Acton Grange is a key section of the West Coast main line between Crewe and Preston and sees on average 250-300 trains per weekday. Network Rail renewed track, cabling, overhead lines and signalling on the Junction. Timetable Notes: No trains between Weaver Jn/Frodsham to Warrington Bank Quay apart from the engineering possession trains. Only train permitted through the possession was DRS Flask services 2 per day these are featured in the timetable. All timetables are from railway source at the time of gaining the data needed. Some guess work was needed for trains at Wigan Wallgate as I have lost my notes for that section. Service Details: Virgin Trains ran only there Class 1 services between Scotland and London via Eccles and Manchester using Pendolinos and the odd double set voyagers. TransPennine Express booked as normal via Newton-Le-Willows. Northern had amended services the Warrington terminations also ran as 2T** to/from Earlestown, There was no Chester services a normal service via Newton-Le-Willows. Normal services to/from Wigan North Western with amended service at Wigan Wallgate. Transport for Wales were all cancelled an no services ran during this period. Freight Services: Most services were either booked via Manchester or Edge Hill/Tuebrook some services were cancelled during the duration of the block. Update: Timetable is complete and testing already started. I'm awaiting the next update for the sim before I release the timetable as there are run-round procedures at Warrington RMT which requires reversal points. Timetable now updated to Version 2.2, after a recommendation for seed trains to start moving once the timetable starts. Seeding Default 15m to 50m for trains that are on the move once the timetable starts. Aaron (AJRO) | Timetable Writer Log in to reply |
