I've started writing a timetable based on a draft which can be found here: http://www.rail-reg.gov.uk/upload/pdf/s18-NLR_appendix10.pdf These are the timings for the first four trains I have added so far: 6X13 Jarrow Tyne Dock - Dollands Moor enters the area at Freight Terminal Junction at 02/21½ Camden Road East Junction - 02/24½ Camden Road (Platform 1) - 02/25½ Camden Road West Junction - 02/26½ Gospel Oak (Platform 1)- 02/31½ Kensal Green Junction - 02/39½ Willesden Junction (High Level, Platform 5) - 02:41 (ARR) 02:43½ (DEP) Mitre Bridge Junction - 02/48 7O90 St. Pancras Churchyard - Angerstein Wharf enters the area at Acton Canal Wharf at 02/50 Acton Wells Junction - 02/53 South Acton Junction - 02/59 Kew East Junction - 03/01½ New Kew Junction - 03/05 4O19 West Burton Power Station - Mountfield Sidings enters the area at Freight Terminal Junction at 03/50 Camden Road East Junction - 03/53 Camden Road (Platform 1) - 03/54½ Camden Road West Junction - 03/56½ Gospel Oak (Platform 1)- 04/02 Kensal Green Junction - 04/09 Willesden Junction (High Level, Platform 5) - 04/10 Mitre Bridge Junction - 04/16 5C11-1 Willesden TMD - Clapham Junction enters the area at Willesden Junction (Low Level, Platform 1) at 04/32 Kensal Green Junction - 04/36 Kensal Green Reversing Siding - 04:37 (ARR) 04:41 (DEP) Kensal Green Junction - 04/42 Willesden Junction (High Level, Platform 5) - 04/43 Mitre Bridge Junction - 04/47 Upon clicking 'Analyse Now', every single train listed here produces the 'Terminates inside the area with no onward working' warning even though they are clearly (to me at least) timetabled to pass an exit point. Is this something I am doing wrong or is it just the sim? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out on this one. Log in to reply |

Have you tried running the TT? On checking an existing a TT with the analyser, it throws up the errors, but the TT works OK. My guess is the analyser/sim set-up is not 100% correct. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |

I just tried your suggestion now with the Summer 2004 timetable and also the Willesden Derailment timetable and every single train produced that same error. So I would go with your guess that the sim itself is to blame.

This looks like some errors in the LOC and ENT files for the sim or in the CTC file for the sim. If I get Time !!!!!!!! I will have a look at it

There are flags that can be set for each location to say whether it is an external or internal (or mixed)- if an exit location is not flagged as an extrnal then when the analyser looks at the timetable it thinks the train must be staying in-sim in which case where is the next working/stop/whatever. So it looks like a Sim coding error- but if it's just a warning then it should not stop the train working. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
