Curiosity has got the better of me. In the timetable that I'm playing (please don't ask me which one) there are numerous trains that call at P3 at Peterborough but don't actually stop in the platform. Why is this and why not send them via the Up Through instead? .....  Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. If it's a recent timetable, remember that Peterborough station has been re-modelled, with bay platform 1 removed and a new platform (numbered P3 as the old P2 and P3 are now P1 and P2 respectively) built to serve the Up Through. I assume the platform number hasn't been changed to suit the sim layout either deliberately or accidentally.  As the image below (courtesy of Railcams) shows the remodelling. Obviously a modern TT that is incorrect and has not had the paths/linecodes modified

Very simply: Sim P1 has been abolished. Sim P2 is now P1. Sim P3 is now P2. Sim doesn't have the new P3 on the Up Fast since it wasn't there in the sim era. P4 and P5 are basically unchanged. Sim doesn't have the new P6 and P7. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: bugsy |
