Doncaster PSB (South) Released

We’re excited to announce the release of the Doncaster PSB (South) simulation, the first in a series of three which cover the area controlled by Doncaster PSB. This covers Panel 1 of the real signal box, and a short stretch of panel 2 to give you control over Ranskill loops when running standalone *1.

Trains run thick and fast on the ECML, and you’ll need to be on your toes to keep things moving, especially when there are delays.

You are in control from Stoke Tunnel, through Grantham, Newark North Gate, the well known Flat Crossing at Newark, Retford, to just north of Bawtry ground frame.

The simulation covers a number of eras, and comes with timetables for 2009, 2015 and 2019.

An update has been released for Peterborough, along with a new 2009 timetable bundled with it.The Peterborough simulation covers a slightly earlier part of time, but the 2009 timetable will allow you to chain both simulations, and head towards London Kings Cross.

Manchester North - The Ordsall Chord & More

Manchester North has received the much anticipated update to include the Ordsall chord, and the simulation area has been expanded to include the line out to Rochdale, including the Oldham loop in the older era. This is a free update to people who have already purchased the simulation.

The simulation covers a number of eras, and comes with timetables for 2009, 2015 and 2019.

You can chain into Manchester Piccadilly, and Manchester East with compatible timetables.

Other Updates in the North West

Alongside the extension to Manchester North, updates to Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester East, Warrington PSB, and Wigan Wallgate have also been released,

Brand new 2009 timetables for Warrington PSB and Wigan Wallgate are also included.

Brand new 2019 timetables have been included with Manchester Piccadilly, and Manchester East

Loader Update

The Set Down option in timetables has been expanded to include a variety of options which better reflect real world behaviour. Existing timetables will work as before, and will default to the Yes (variable) option. These new options are used in various parts of the timetables released with this update.
See https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack%3Attuse%3Aset_down for further details.

As always there are various minor bug fixes, check the change log for further details.

Other Updates

Minor updates to Sheffield, York North / South, and Victoria Central (A mixture of timetables and simulations) are also included.

Just what I have been waiting for :)

I have just purchased a licence for this sim and will purchase a licence for the others when they are made available.

Many thanks Geoff and all those involved with the testing and whatever else.

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

Thanks to all involved! Although I must admit, seeing the name, the first thing I did was open it and look for Doncaster station, before reading that it’s part 1 of 3...!

I have long hoped that Doncaster PSB would appear one day, even if it was in stages as was done with Rugby. My thanks go to all involved with the creation and testing of Doncaster South and I look forward to the arrivals of the other two parts.
