Hi all - I'm trying to timetable a loco from Provincial Siding to Newcastle Slow Line with a reversal at Newcastle T6038, however the validation fails. The routing options for trains leaving Provincial Siding are Manors or High Level Bridge Jn but I don't see why a loco would need to travel that far to reverse. Is Provincial Siding to Newcastle T6038 a valid move that should be available to use in a timetable or am I unwittingly breaking rules? Regards, Iain. Log in to reply |

I'm sure someone will have a look into the issues that you're having. Are you attempting to create your own TT? If so, have you read here. Also, could you start only one thread (for the sim in question) and there you can add any other issues that you run into along the way. That way it stops the forum clogging up with multiple threads that are based on the same thing/issues. You may also find that there are already threads within the forum that could help you. If you use the drop down on the home symbol at the top of the page you will find a search option. Thanks Craig, I have indeed had a look at the Writing Timetables section of the site. Before making a new post I do a search for existing 'bugs and issues' threads for sims and check the content, as well as searching for separate threads on the subject matter - on this occasion I found the existing general thread for Tyneside but didn't find anything relating to my query nor a separate thread, plus I felt this was more a timetabling query so I started a new thread. Your comment regarding starting only one thread is duly noted. I'm used to doing it the other way round - separate threads for different queries - as where I worked we found it difficult to track multiple issues raised in a single thread that got larger and larger (and larger and larger....you get the picture!)
