Hi Experts, I am fairly new to this terrific "game"? Much more than that I think. I was very pleased with myself working this timetable. Everything was running like clockwork so I went and made a cup of coffee. THEN, the road crossing at Floriston rd failed and everything came to a stop there.I started allowing trains to pass the signals at stop hoping it would rectify after a while. But, it didn't. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem. Cheers everyone, and thanks in advance. Norm. Log in to reply |

What do you mean by Failed? The 2009 TT should be played in the 2000s era in which Floriston Road Crossing has been converted to a CCTV crossing which requires the signaller to operate lowering sequence and then check that the crossing is clear. If you can attach a save game of the crossing in the failed state, we can have a look at it for you. Could you also paste into the post the technical info please. The Technical Info is found by going into the menu (either hit the hamburger symbol or press the space bar) then Help -> About -> Technical Info. There is then a button at the top which will copy all the information so it can be pasted here Log in to reply |

Hi y10g9 I replayed that scenario again but the crossing didn't fail this time. What happened last time I got the message "crossing blocked by road vehicle" I think I am ok now but thanks for your prompt help. cheers, Norm. Log in to reply |

Norm in post 141341 said:Hi y10g9 As the message says, this means a vehicle is trapped between the barriers. This can happen in real life as well, of course. The solution is to simply raise the barriers to release the vehicle, then lower them after a little while and clear the crossing. If we're talking about realism, you've just authorised trains to proceed with a vehicle on the tracks! Last edited: 24/08/2021 at 17:19 by Dionysusnu Reason: None given Log in to reply |
