In the 1991 timetable I have 0K76 at signal M5248 destined for Milford Down Sidings. It just seem a little bit odd to me that an actual destination isn't given in the timetable because if I route it from M5248 to the 'Exit triangle' it will end up in the Reception siding. Is that the intention? ..... Assuming that I also clear signal 9 that is. Update: At 12:59 I receive a message saying that 0K76 is waiting at signal M692 which is the exit point at the other end of the sidings. Again, seems odd as the timetable still says that the destination is the sidings in which case why is it trying to leave. Have I done something wrong perhaps or do I need to edit the timetable in some way, sending it into sidings 2-4 perhaps? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. You can route trains into siding 1 to terminate them or siding 2-4 to let them go off-sim. Most timetables include a platform code to tell you which one to use. If unsure, ask in the thread about the timetable. Edit: the Simplifier might tell you whether the loco is scheduled to reappear at some point during the game. Is it necessary to put my query into a timetable thread. I would have thought that the tt author or whoever it may concern would see it here in this thread. I think that I'll poke it into siding 1 and see what happens later. Update: I've put it in siding 1 and the tt says that it is terminated and has no more trips. All's well that ends well Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Last edited: 24/10/2021 at 13:32 by bugsy Reason: None given Log in to reply |

There is a MO 6K76 booked to enter from Milford Down Sdgs(2-4) at 13.15. Which I suspect won't enter cos you've put the loco in No.1 road at Milford West Sdgs. 0K76 MO should exit the sim if routed correctly as 6K76 MO enters from Milford Down Sdgs(2-4) at 13.15. If the set of wagons had been seeded at that location that would have been necessary to do if the trains bound for Milford Down Sdgs(2-4) didn't exit the sim. But as 6K76 has an entry location in its TT data indicates that the loco should not be visible on the F2 once it has exited the sim.

But as 6K76 has an entry location in its TT data indicates that the loco should not be visible on the F2 once it has exited the sim.As I said above, I sent 0K76 into Milford Down siding No.1 as it wasn't clear to me where it should go. Once it arrived it appeared in the train list as "Terminated, no more timetable trips" as per the attached screenshot. Now, if I have done something wrong, please tell me what I should have done instead so that I don't have any problems later in the sim. ..... Edit: I've just re-read the last post and noticed that it says that 0K76 re-enters the sim at Down Sidings 2-4. This answer my question. nicely, but it didn't actually say that in the timetable. I've now got to re-run the sim so that I can route it accordingly. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. I seem to recall that I made this mistake as well when running the TT myself, so I would suggest adding the 2-4 platform (or line?) code to this train if possible for a future TT update.

Has anyone tried using the lever frame to get trains into sidings 2-4 from M5248 and M691X? I would suggest that the manual is updated to explain the processes into the sidings 2-4 and any other corresponding moves around that area. To get into Down sidings 2-4 you need to tick 7. points to 2-4 sidings and 9. handsignal to all sidings and run round which is where the train stands before ticking those options (M691X). There's very little information on the use of the lever frame options for Milford Down sidings. How to report an issue: www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:reportanissue Log in to reply |

Yes, that works, and I think bugsy already figured that out. The question was just which siding exactly the train was supposed to go into, which is relevant because one is an entry/exit point (2-4) and the other one isn't (1).

I've started to make some notes on the various movements within the sidings. It's maybe not quite finished yet but it certainly helps :) ..... Actually, I've just noticed something wrong with the notes. I'll have to change them Edit: No there isn't Post has attachments. Log in to view them.
