I get that the southampton simulation is a discontinued one, and I played it a while back on my old computer that died on me cause it was a terrible toshiba and was 12 years old, And I remember some of the really good timetables from it, and they are still there, is there a way to use those again? or download a old version of the southampton simulation either using them or by asking?

As it sounds like you do not have the sim and setup installer files you used the first time, your only hope is to get the running files from the old hard drive.

Can you access the hard drive in any way, either over network or in caddy or suchlike ?
If so then you can manually recreate a working installation by moving the files over. You will need the sim, timetable folder and libraries (*.bpl from windows/system32). In addition you may need the old fonts from windows/fonts into your new PC fonts directory.

The timetables are still available in the User Contributed section of the download area (timetables for other withdrawn .exe sims also remain available), the simulation itself has been withdrawn and can't be downloaded from the website.

You can usually get the data out of a laptop harddisk using a device like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sabrent-5-25-INCH-Converter-Activity-USB-DS12/dp/B0758RP5V8/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=usb+to+ide+adapter&qid=1635417300&sr=8-3

This one also supports old laptop IDE disks, though I think a 12 year old laptop (~2009) is already using a SATA disk just like modern computers, so you could just hook it up in any desktop computer as well.
