This is a concept for the Showgrounds and Flemington Racecourse line in Melbourne's inner north-western suburbs. Note it is not an accurate simulation of any point in time, but rather takes what I consider the most interesting aspects of various eras and throws them all together. I've also renumbered a lot of the signals and points to make operating the panel easier; aside from the numbering they could also have single-letter prefixes. Trains could operate up to every 2-4 minutes if required, and passenger trains would be allocated to specific terminating platforms. Block livestock trains can arrive either loco-hauled from Newmarket post 3, or shunting back from post 6 via points 11.
