Routing issues at New Street (1976-1991 era) 28/11/2021 at 13:06 #142547

I have just started playing New Street with Pascal's 1990 TT. However, I have come across a few issues with shunt routes in the latest version 5.4 of the New Street sim, that I think are bugs. Loader version is 5.17.2.

* Signal 224: It is possible to set routes from 2 directions to this signal. First set a route 'via C' - this route requires points 599A/B/C to be reversed - and set the route onwards into a platform. All shunts clear.
Then, a route can be set from 241/255 (Stour line) to 224, and this route also clears.
I think the bug here is that the routes via D/G to 224 do not require points 599A/B/C to be normal. (The routes affected are: 255 to 224 via G, 241 to 224 via D or G.)

* Signal 238: The route from 238 directly into P10/11 bypassing 236 is not available if a route from the Stour lines to 238 is set ("points locked reverse by another route"). However it is possible to route a train this way if you set a main route from Soho.

* Train standing at signal 159 at the south end of P11 (see attached save) routed towards 160 (LOS): First of all, TRTS does not appear. Second, after setting the route the train calls it's waiting at "signal 160" (the LOS) even though it is still at signal 159 (P11). Talking it past the signal works to get it to the LOS. (EDIT: Even if the route is not set, it still calls me it's at signal 160. Apparently the simulated signal 159 carries a plate with NS160!)

Another issue with signal 224: when train is routed from 224 into P6, which comes from the 'D' via button, 224 does not clear. Save attached.

The same happens if you set a route from NS159 to NS148 on the Up Derby. Happened to me with 5O12 waiting to shunt P11 - P10 in Pascal's 1990 TT.

Another one: 5J11 is in the reversing siding at Soho and can't get out onto the main line: "conflicting subroutes"

5G60 is coming out of Soho Depot at the same time onto the through line, can't these routes be set together?
