As with my Racecourse Line concept this is based on a mix of various eras that together represent the most interesting operation. The area represents about fifteen signal boxes over the period 1900 to 1950. There are also four tram squares, just for added complexity. Clifton Hill to Jolimont, Westgarth to Eltham and Hurstbridge, Merri to Reservoir and Whittlesea, and Royal Park to Coburg and Somerton could all connect to the simulation.
