I now have 100 freight trains in my 1985 tt (still waiting for the passenger/parcels tt!) and I have obtained a copy of the trip notices for the area.

Trip BS59 includes a journey to Wolverhampton HC, does anyone know where this is?
It also includes "Wednesfield Road", which appears to be the road next to the station. Is this the up sidings or carriage sidings?

Lastly, one of the lines in the working is:

Wednesfield Road arr 11:25 FS dep 12:40 inc.BSC

Can someone tell me why this entry and a couple of others have FS in them?

Just to add, those BS numbers are the crewe diagrams. The trip numbers are the other ones. Trip 43 in this case.

Wednesbury is accessed via heath Town on the sim. Its a fan of assorted industry sidings

Do you know if the BSC next to Wednesfield road refers to the British Steel sidings at Osier bed?

Guestimating here, but given the RR (RunRound) activity it may be worth TT'ing a Run around move in the U&DGL at Wolves station given the previous and next locations of Bescot Yard and Monmore Green.

Nothing likely appears for location 'Wolverhampton HC' at railwaycodes.org.uk.

Maybe a typo since HS is the holding sidings (up sidings in the sim). I will do what you said, RR on the UDG loop, which makes the most sense and I don't think we can run round in the up sidings in the sim.

I just got the passenger and parcels WTT table. Gulp. I guess I know what my weekend will involve.

Sorry, me again. Can someone tell me the correct locations to enter Wednesfield road from Heath Town sidings? I can go from the branch line WN119 to Heath Town Sidings but I believe the train should then reverse and go across to WN132 but this is not a location in the list that I can see.

If Heath Town sidings is an exit point then I would presumably need another working to cross from there to Wednesfield Road?

Thanks

Whilst writing my Woiverhampton summer 1990 TT it became clerar that there's no paths in the sim atm for anything coming out Heath Town to WN119/WN123 won't work cos there aren't any paths in the sim. I've registered it on Mantis & awaiting the developer to fix this. So you'll have the same problem as me. So far not TT owt to or from Oster Bed.

Osier bed will be the BSC mentioned, servicing Osier bed steel works.

Not sure what Wolverhampton HC is, but 20 mins is pretty much a standard RR time so its likely just booked time to run round and depart.

re Osier bed:

Test timetabling in 1987 era

No paths from Osier Bed as an entry
Osier Bed does not show in the location drop down for timetabling

I think Wednesbury (not Wednes*field*) is entirely off sim, access from Bescot, along Walsall - Stourbridge line, then onto the old GW route (disconnected both ways by 1987).
Attached map, magenta highlighting.

Wednesfield (and thereby east end of Wolverhampton Low Level) would be from the left/west/down direction unlabelled exit at W132.

Correct. I did amend my original post about 5 mins after typing it, but it doesn't seem to have picked up!
