Hey everyone, I'm writing this from my iPhone. I despise mobile view on most websites, including Simsig, so I like to switch to desktop view. It has always worked on SimSig'a website until today. Today I've begun to receive a 404 error. Any ideas? Log in to reply |

I noticed this yesterday and have logged Mantis 35700 to take a look. That looks like Safari you're using, I'm not sure if it has a "view desktop site" mode like Chrome does, but that is still working for me, albeit I need to zoom in a bit more.

I am getting this also via safari. Using view desktop mode takes me to the error message also. Appears mobile view is the only one I can see.

The funny thing is that the "desktop" version of the page is actually using a responsive layout, which I find perfectly cromulent even on a mobile phone.

If you’re using safari on iPhone or iPad go to Settings/Safari Towards the bottom is the Request Desktop Website option. Working on my iPhone. Last edited: 11/02/2022 at 11:39 by andyb0607 Reason: None given Log in to reply |

It’s also possible to tap on the “Aa” menu in the address bar on Safari to get the desktop view on a one-time basis. If you change it in settings, you will get the desktop version of all websites all the time.

IF I however click in the settings to load the page as a desktop then no such error occurs, hasten to add it has only been having the issues fairly recently so I hope whoever is responsible for the website can fix it. A file was missing from the upload a few days ago, which should now be fixed.
