It seems the Northfield location does not step up timetables on the Up Fast. However, no wrong route is called at signal 25 if routed to the fast lines. The train was 7Z02 from the 1995-1996 timetable, which does not stop at Northfield, and is untimed.

A timetable for reproduction has been attached. If the train stops at Northfield, a wrong route is called. If it does not, the train will accept FL, and not step up at Northfield. When the train reaches Kings Norton rev 529, it will stop, and go to "waiting for right-away at Northfield". After waiting 2 minutes, the train calls and reports that it's waiting at signal 63. This is the wrong direction for the train's intended departure from 529 rev back towards Kings Norton. Post has attachments. Log in to view them.
