Pretty quick question tbh, do you have to own all simulations listed when joining a chain as a client?

Pretty quick answer too, No. Only the one you're hosting/joining. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Newhampshires |

so does that mean if you're joining a chain from a sim you own, are you able to connect to the sim you don't?

You can chain to a sim which you don't own, provided it's being hosted by someone who does own it. I'm a bit confused myself with that last reply. To clarify: whenever you host a sim, you must own* it. You do not need to own anything it chains to in order to chain to it. If you're joining a sim as a client then you need to own* the sim you're joining, though you can spectate (no control) without a license. * Own, unless the sim is free.
