Hi, I can't see in the manual about platform lengths for SRW. Please could you advise the working lengths for the platforms 3-7 (plus 'A' and 'B' sections of pp4 & 7 where not across blocks) and the permissive working arrangements? Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

From the TC lengths: P3 262m P4 324m P5 134m P6 134m P7 332m The A and B sections on 4 and 7 are more for the passenger's benefit so they know which end to stand at. The block section is the platform, from a signalling perspective it doesn't matter where the train stops as long as there's enough space to fit whatever you want to send in on top. It's not like New St and other stations with signals halfway down the platform.
