Hi,

As there's no path from Chaddesden Sidings (Entry) to Chad Curve, I have TT'd a train to stop at DBY Stn North Jn. However, the stopping point it has chosen has fouled the station neck. Save attached.

Thanks
Jamie

Derby Stn North Jn is pretty useless as a timing location for just that reason. When the 1992 TT was tested, anything booked to reverse there needed to have that location changed to one of the Derby North Jn GPL sigs or Chad Curve so as not to stop on the junction, and the same at St Marys Jn.

When creating TOPS schedules many years ago for the ballast trippers from Chad Sdgs to Mountsorrel/Sandiacre/Stud Farm or the weekend ballast jobs to engineering sites, we just used 57301 Chad Sdgs (Origin) then 57403 Derby Stn as a passing or detail consist (reversal) point. If Derby North Jn did exist as a TOPS location back then (many junctions were only added to TOPS/TRUST as auto reporting became more widespread), we didn't put it in our schedules as there was no automatic train reporting to record a train passing there so it was unnecessary.
