Decided to fire up Derby and while I understand how to receive trains FROM Alrewas following the notes on the wiki Alrewas Alrewas requires a slot to send a train, which is given by setting a route from signal SAS5 (which is grey) to signal 78. Any train booked to reverse behind signal 78 should be signalled towards Alrewas using the white shunt arrow. However it's not clear on the course of action to take when sending trains TO Alrewas, for example 4M24 on the default 2015 timetable just appears to sit at signal AS1 and not do anything. What is the process to send trains to them please? Log in to reply |

You just set a route from 82 signal to AS1 signal. There is a sim issue (Fixed in a version currently under test) where a train won't exit at Alrewas if you send it to the shunt arrow associated with AS1. I remember Maxand had this problem back in 2015. The various responses made very interesting reading. I've kept the save that Maxand provided but haven't attempted to sort the trains out yet. Will get around to it eventually.
