Looking at the track diagram at Weaver Junction there seems to be an extra crossover / passing loop just before turning left towards Runcorn and right towards Warrington after signal WD169 that's not in the sim era 2016 - 2023. Does anybody know when this was put in IRL and if it's a missing feature? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Those crossovers were taken out years ago (they're present in earlier eras on the sim), suspect the diagram is wrong.

Ah, explains why those signals are controlled. Should have known to check an earlier era.

Hi, They're not on TrackMaps 2018 and I couldn't find any information in MR Trackwatch. I don't see those crossovers on Google Maps either. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Without having the information in front of me, I believe that the crossovers went around or sometime just after 2007

What is the possibility of having a difficulty mode between easy and medium? As in, TDs have to be manually inputted but delays are reduced. I've found in medium difficulty the delays on trains entering are a little too excessive/common.

You can always adjust the delay and failure settings in F3 to suit the level/frequency that you want. That being said, there is not a difficulty setting of easy in crewe. Are you refering to the scale of problems which has none, low, medium and high? Log in to reply The following user said thank you: TUT |

Yes, sorry. It's not the failure rate which I'm finding to be the issue. On medium, scale of problems, setting the number of trains entering the area with a large delay seems a little excessive but dropping down to low means you lose out on having to manually enter headcodes (only a minor issue).

I didn't realise the sliders in the options (F3) change the timetable delay within the incident control panel on each schedule (F4). My bad.

I've noticed that routes from Gresty Lane to Up Arrival No.2 aren't show however the shunt light is given, is this intentional? EDIT: I've also noticed that I can't seem to accept a slot for trains from CSSN to Crewe PSB since the update Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Using HST125Scorton's Pre-Covid TT in the 2016-2023 era. Trying to get a train out of the Crewe DED at GL9042 but setting a route from GL9042 to 9032 results in the train sitting at GL37 (with no moves possible), which isn't visible on the panel and I suspect doesn't exist in the era as it's in the same location as GL9042 in the earlier eras.

Found a typo: When asking Crewe Carriage Shed to send a train, in his response it is spelt 'Permission granted for ... (Crewe Cariage Shed 1 or 2)' And another thing: When requesting the permission and later due to a failure 'cancelling all acceptances' and after that later requesting permission again, I get the response 'That train has already been accepted! Permission is for Crewe Cariage Shed (1 or 2)' Stephan Log in to reply |
