Hi there, I'm attempting to make insert a new timetable into Simsig and I must be doing something wrong. I enter all the information for a particular service, validate it (sometimes it then changes the order of the stops for no apparent reason), and then when its sucessfully validated, save the timetable as a new .WTT file before starting a new simulation to see if its saved and not only does the .WTT show as 'None', the servies I entered don't exist! Additionally, when you click on a headcode, it now shows a bit of text in the black box at the top, instead of showing the servies whole timetable in a new window. Where is the setting to change this please? Thanks! Last edited: 06/05/2023 at 13:43 by Mikey Farr Reason: None given Log in to reply |

(None) is the option to start with a blank timetable. If that, and the sim default timetables, are all you have then you have not saved your timetable. If you save the empty timetable file, it is called 'None.wtt', no brackets, so the selection list shows (None) and None If you save an empty timetable AFTER editing it, it gets called '[simname] custom timetable.wtt' unless you rename it. Are you doing file|save as not timetable|save as ? You might then find your timetables as a saved game Are you changing where the timetable is saved ? Unless altered, SimSig ONLY looks at the public documents/SimSig/timetables/[simname] folder You can import a timetable from anywhere as you get a normal file browse window Note that file system names (mytimetable.wtt) are not necessarily the same as you get for select timetable for new simulation.
