At Manchester Airport 5P64 and 1Y63 are meant to PS, Both trains in 1 platform would exceed the 200M platform limit.

5P64 didn't end up going to the Airport and terminated at Ardwick each time. So I have cut it's path back to Piccadilly then Ardwick TMD.

0Z53, When it gets to Signal 97 For Longsight Up & Down Goods the train stops and queries wrong route. I cancelled the signal and set it to Signal 58 and it calls wrong route again and says it's scheduled via Longsight Car MD.

I'll take a look on 0Z53 shortly although I think it was booked on Longsight Up/Dn Loop then back to Picc before CMD.

That's correct but then it wants the U&D Goods to go in to the MD but calls wrong route and then calls wrong route again when you set it further along the fast.

I'm just wondering if because it's ticked as Freight/Use Goods lines that could affect it not going into CMD., I'm a bit confused why it wouldn't want to go in.

It goes in to the MD no problem but just don't want to go in to the U&D goods loop and then when you set it further along the fast to route it in to the MD it calls wrong route again and says the train is scheduled for Longsight Carr MD even though it can get to there from the fast a bit further along.

These have been solved. Along with couple other issues.

There seem to be some issues with speed classes on Piccadilly - 195s, 331s and 397s are doing a max of 75 along the up/down Bolton north of Salford despite top speed being up to 100mph for multiple unit trains. I can't see anything wrong in the TT data though.

TT is correct as them trains are set for 100mph and 125mph for the 397s. This might need taking up with Geoff as I've noticed the same issue. Also Down Slow from Ardwick Jn to Man Picc 14 seems to drop from 20 to 15 to 20.

Pretty sure Headshot is the sim dev so would need to be taken up with him.

I'm looking into it just now. Just comparing several SA to ensure we get the right things in the sim and when the speeds changed. I'll have a mantis ticket shortly if required.

Speeds changed when the overheads were switched on, although there was a TSR of 75 for most of the line at first

It also remained at 75 (permanent, not TSR) between Kearsley and Agecroft North for a while following the raising of the limits on the rest of the route. That section was raised later, can't remember when exactly though.

I'm sure Electrification was completed and EMUs started around May 2019 at that time line speeds was 75mph. I think it was mid 2021 it raised and the last part towards end of 2021. Trying to find my documents to check but digging them is harder than thought.

A handful of self-contained diagrams (3 I think) went over to electric operation in February 2019, with full introduction with the timetable change in May that year. The TPE Scottish services reverted to running via Bolton at the same time. I'm sure the 75mph TSR on the bulk of the route came off before Covid.

I had a look through the August 2019 SA and the updates to the speeds were made on the 13/01/2019 between Bolton and Salford. I can't get hold of a PON from around that time.

I will just add the caveat that the era in question is 2018-2020, so anything that happens after that won't be represented in the sim.

You beaten me, was just going to mention about the line speed changes. I found the info in a box stuff deep under the stairs what a nightmare in getting out with my sore arm. Regards to the Era 2018-2020 I think this should really reflect up to 2022 at least to allow all the changes come into the sim. Then again I don't fully have into to help with that.

Adding eras into sims isn't a 5 mintue job, nor adapting to the current ones.

We've got data for what we have just now and albeit, if some of that has been missed then we can adapt to that. as long as there's data supporting it.

If you can understand that if a developer took word of mouth and ammended their sim and it wasn't actually acurate, that would probably cause more upset. Unless there's sound evidence and data to work from then the likelihood is that it won't go any further.

If at any point that the information/data does perhaps become available, then one would have to accept that at the time that other projects are being worked on and will end up at the lower end in the priority queue.

We will always encourage the community to contribute their own ideas to the Simsig product, but it must be made clear that whilst doing so, please bare in mind what options you have available. Even though one may have TT information for a later date, doesn't mean that Simsig needs to be on the same page as that. Simsig will try as much as possible to assist with user contributed timetables, but only within the realms of what Simsig has released and again if data can support such things. Thus, at production of Man Pic era 2018 - 2020.. this is the best prepresentation of the simulation that we can provide with the information that we have. To attempt anything else beyond that, without the information/data, wouldn't be benificial to our community.

We would ask that before contributing, please be comfortable with what each sim offers and it's own bounderies. If a TT is being made for 2023 and the sim only offers a latest era of 2018 - 2020, then one would have to accept and declare that what they are providing may not be compatible with the available eras of the simulation.

Cheers
Craig

For some reason 6J45 hasn't entered in Piccadilly. It's showing bold in the TT window (not entered) and there haven't been any notifications about a delay - it's currently 2053 and it should have entered at 1848! 6J44 ran on time but in the performance detail it shows 963 late as it has 00:00 timings.

Will take a look at 6J45 I could of made an error on the timings.

Does it enter if you remove the rule? 6J45 must enter 100mins after 6J44 leaves Victoria?

Fixed used the wrong rule!.

Just making sure this is correct. 5I84 wants Wheel Lathe 2. This isn't the depot that Northern have so just wanted to make sure this is correct?
