Issue with trains entering simulation 23/08/2023 at 17:52 #152948 | |

I have recently noticed an issue regarding trains entering the simulation early. If the time in the sim is later that the time the train would have entered, the train simply doesn't enter. Here an example in the Motherwell simulation I recently bought: I've got train 0B26 entering at "Carstairs Up sidings (up)" at 06:15 running 1E. If I try and open the 0600 or the 0615 savegame the train does not enter the simulation. I need 0B26 because it is connecting to 1S26 at Carstairs, but even waiting until 0630 does not do the trick. Is there a way I can force the train into the simulation without abandoning the planned join? Thanks in advance for the response.

So the example train that you had of 0B26 had an invalid timetable. This is why the train wouldn't enter and was completely coincidental to the fact that it was down to enter the sim 1 min early On running the TT analysis tool on the timetable, there are 18 invalid timetables show in the error list. This means that none of those services will enter the simulation. 0B26 was an incorrect reversing loaction at Carstairs. I have correct that one for you in your 0600 snapshot which is attached. I have not had a look at the other erors in the TT Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Save game is timetable Motherwell 15-10-09 (0445) v1 from 2018 This is a user, not default, timetable, despite the 'groundhog' date. Several 'breaking' changes were needed to Motherwell sim around end 2020 to compensate for changes made in core code. Carstairs has an additional location Carstairs Sig MC428 (rev), the original location remains as Carstairs Sigs MC419/421/423 (rev) Mossend North (rev) has been deleted and replaced by Mossend Yd sigs 296/298 (rev), Mossend Yd sig 302 (rev) and Mossend Yd sig 306 (rev). Thanks to both of you, now I know what to check if a train does not enter the simulation.
