While running my latest timetable I had to manually set paths for trains using the Down Ordsall Curve towards Victora from Oxford Road. Under ARS it seems to set the route to Deansgate then it won't set the route from there meaning manual set of the route. I know ARS is guide of help and can make errors. It seems its missing pathing details regarding the route at Water Street Jn Eg. DB - Path / DOC - Line. I have checked via looking at the default timetable from 2019 that's provided with the sim. Nothing on trains have any path/line set from Piccadilly through to Deal Lane Jn. Water Street Jn seems to be baffled as when routing trains towards Victoria it wants BL - Path / BL - Line maybe that is the issue at the Junction? I don't know if I'm correct or a sim quirk but shouldn't DB - Path / DOC - Line be used at Water Street Jn?

http://www.charlwoodhouse.co.uk/rail/livetrain/G67356/30/08/23 shows a correct schedule for Ordsall Curve

https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:G67360/2023-08-30/detailed doesnt show a correct schedule,

These are the only locations you need for services to take the curve

Deansgate
Water St Jn
Salford Central
Deal St Jn
Manchester Victoria

The only location that needs any line code (SL/FL) is Deal St Jn when heading to Victoria

Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!!

Ah I see thank you. So when pressing validate Water Street Jn auto populates with "BL - Path / BL - Line" I presume I have put them to blank and ignore them? as trains for Ordsall and Salford Crescent will need BL/BL?

Note that you can identify this on RTT - "Fake" timings, like in this case Castlefield Jn, are expressed in a slightly grey shade compared to the actual location times from the WTT.

If you have an adblocker and would like to hide the inserted timing rows altogether, you can add the following custom filter:
Quote:
realtimetrains.co.uk##.location.pass.e
Or for only hiding the fake timing, but leaving the location and realtime report:
Quote:
realtimetrains.co.uk##.location.pass.e .wtt .dep
