When looking at the new WTTs for the upcoming changes it seems location Crewe Sydney Bridge has been removed as a pathing requirement. When you do this on the simulation Crewe > Sandbach it throws an error suggesting that it needs said location. Not sure why this location has been removed. Would there be a need to update the simulation so that the sim doesn't throw an error from Crewe to Sandbach and add location Ce154 in towards Crewe? From Crewe Crewe > Sandbach Example XC 1H14: http://charlwoodhouse.co.uk/rail/livetrain/$32030343/26/10/23 To Crewe Sandbach > Crewe Signal Ce154 > Crewe Example XC 1O68: http://charlwoodhouse.co.uk/rail/livetrain/$32030459/26/10/23 I'll presume Ce154 is the timing point for Sydney Bridge?, also flags up as Crewe Weston Gate (O, C & G) (CREW154)). The mapping of TIPLOCs to names seems to have gone awry somewhere there :- CREWOCG is Crewe Weston Gate (O, C & G) CREW154 is Crewe Signal CE154 If you wish to do a timetable from the change in December 2023 going forward, you would be better to estimate a time at Crewe Sydney Bridge Junction (Former site of) and ignore the new CE154 location. The timings on 1O68 don't look to be any different to the current timetable period other than being 30seconds earlier at CE154 than Crewe Sydney Bridge Junction (Former site of). While this particular change might be feasible to include (And I'm not promising as I've not spoken to the developer about it yet), there are massive changes coming to the Crewe area as work begins to progress with resignalling & recontrolling the area, the simulation won't be able to keep up with these changes as they happen, and remains as a simulation of the Crewe area up to 2023. Any idea what O C and G means? I suppose it makes some sense from a planning point of view given Sydney Bridge has no pathing abilities wheras CE154 does There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply |
