Could you please provide a .ssg prior to any Non described event and also your technical information regarding the sim version and loader being used. Information can be found here

I can currently only find one mantis ticket regarding non described trains and it is showing fixed in release version 4.3. Mantis 32402 for reference.

It would be handy to know this information what you are experiencing and if it is relevant to this ticket issue or something else. There's also this thread, does this relate to what you are experiencing?

Thanks
Craig

Have run an hour of 1993 TT on current issued sim (5.4) /loader (5.28) and also some test trains

From the historical issues:
Midcalder exit - is OK
Gretna entry - is OK
Gretna exit - not OK, test trains same message as the save provided : "00:36:23 Non-described train in berth E544 (debug: from E546)"

Bill,
I think you will find the Shotts Line exit also gives the error. The Cobbenshaw one is OK.

Confirmed Shotts exit has same on sim data 5.4

No Mantis required - both are OK on a recent testing version of the sim, but release of that pending other stuff IIRC.

Hi Bill,

I found another little glitch whislt playing out the SIM yesterday.

ARS doesn't seem to like routing trains from the Cathcart line into Newton P1.
Tey get stopped at M142 with an "Incorrect route" error coming up.

This might well be due to the eroor message "PKIRK2 contains non - visible itemsin this area RM142BM" when the first train enters after re - loading the SIM

Cheers
Neil

PS second edit!! Cove LC does not work in manual mode.................

Cove has had a major rebuild (the main reason for the delay) having found control tables for a similar crossing elsewhere. I've not seen the error message before myself, certainly not in the current build but I'll have a look.

Mantis 39968 for the PKIRK2 issue. Cove LC has had some extensive re-work so I'm assuming that's already covered.

Peter,
If you try in manual mode, the crossing clears but immediately raises the barriers.

That specific case had been fixed but there was a separate case of when Kirkhill was omitted from the timetable that gave a similar error.

Unfortunately the problem will remain until an update has resolved the outstanding issues, has been tested and is released.

I'm going to try and get it up for testing this week, I'm just really struggling for sufficiently long blocks of time.

Come April I should be partly retired but no doubt Mrs. B will find me things to do that will be time vampires.

Peter - I can assure you from experience that "retirement" just means transferring the time you would have been at work to domestic matters that, as in my case, "She who must be obeyed" has deemed need attention.......................

Motherwell is one of my top favourites and it will be great to eventually getting it working 100%. Hope you an find the time soon.

Mrs B had an accident last Saturday (nothing serious, just tripped over someone's bag in a tea shop but is hobbling around on crutches now) so I'm also exhausted dealing with that.

I do look forward to an updated Motherwell. I appreciate the issues you currently have and hope Mrs B is all good and well. I have couple of timetables ready to go but waiting on a updated version to clear the issues mentioned above.
