Hi everyone... Firstly, apologies to Clive as I have only just seen his daughter is also running in the London Marathon this year (Good Luck Katy). I hope you dont object to me posting as well. Anyway, I will keep it as short as possible. My wife has received a ballot place in this year’s London Marathon and on the same day that she heard the news, she was at the hospital with her Mum to discover that her Mum had terminal cancer. A day of very mixed emotions. Sadly, her Mum passed away in August, but she was very much a cat lover having several cats during her lifetime. She also enjoyed giving cuddles and fusses to our 6 cats all of whom are adopted from rescues. So, cutting to the chase, she has decided to run for 2 charities. One of them is the Ellenor hospice that took care of her Mum in the last few weeks, and the second is Pussycat Lodge Trust where most of our cats have come from. I appreciate you don’t know us from the next person; however, hopefully you will agree that we have all been affected in some way by both the terrible curse of cancer and appreciate the work that cat rescues do. Both Michelle and I would be extremely grateful if you have any spare pennies, you could donate them to these excellent charities. The link is below and thanks to Geoff for allowing me to post this, and of course YOU for reading. Your link does indeed work. All the very best for both charities and the Marathon. Craig How to report an issue: www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:reportanissue Last edited: 24/01/2024 at 17:59 by Hap Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: bri2808 |
