Been playing around with the interface gateway. I have spotted that it looks like any route request which comes from the interface gateway does not do any “Route availability” checks, and the route is just set.

An example on Aston (as that’s where I’ve been testing), setting through SimSig 125CM, and then requesting AN126AM from the interface gateway results in the route setting, and all points moving (even though they should be locked by RAN125CM)

Im guessing the Route Availability check is done through the UI level, and is bypassed by the InterfaceGateway?
