Just a few ideas for small QoL features: 1. "Locked" views which can either have the can have the ability to be made "inactive", so we can't use the view to manipulate anything and the ability to have scroll turned off so we can have a fixed view over an area without accidentally scroll/manipulate anything. This will let us have views on pinch points. 2.Font/size/bold/underline/italics on sticky notes - I find that they are quite easily lost in the back ground of a busy SIM. 3. 4. A "scroll to" on the phone call page as an option so the view moves to where the caller is calling from EDIT: 5. Views save with game state 6. Option to set space bar to pause sim Last edited: 07/09/2024 at 06:55 by KneeOn Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: KCRCRailway |

You can do it half right, but on bigger Sims such as Three Bridges, LTS, Mersey Rail or Kings Cross, I might want to remove local only stops. In reality that decision would be communicated once as a "do not call" order but even with F2 - TT, I still have to do that after every station I do want it to call at. This suggestion is for removing stops in one go instead.

I'll have to give that a try, last time I used a timetable editor it didn't change trains already in area! Thank you both for clarifying it would work!

Thank you both for clarifying it would work!To change trains in the area you need to edit the TT via the F2 train list. As you say, editing via the main F4 TT editor won't affect trains that have already entered. You can already pause the sim with 'P' Spacebar is reserved for triggering the main menu, I feel like it works pretty well the way it is Last edited: 08/09/2024 at 05:37 by flabberdacks Reason: None given Log in to reply |

I think it's a personal preference - I always used space on the early Sims and it remains my muscle memory - if it's possible to have it an option I'd personally like to be able to chose

On a slightly smaller sim for sure! And I guess as a number of regular players are current or former signallers it'll be second nature but on much larger Sims (Kings Cross, LTS, Three Bridges) it would perhaps be a nice aid. I did consider suggesting that the relevant headcode flashes but 1. That's probably a bit too much of an aid 2. That isn't at all realistic (I don't think, apart from the scene in The Taking of Pelham 123!) These suggestions, in my view, should be optional so those who enjoy the masochistic pleasure of running the largest Sims, solo, with zero help can still relax with the chaotic stress!
