In the 1981 timetable, if you have a train on the UP line at Finningley waiting for the Ground Frame to activate, is the time period fixed or does it vary from game to game? I recently started a game and got fed up waiting, so abandoned it and started a new game in which there wasn’t a train at that location. Are you sure it wasn't a work train within a possession, seem to recall having something similar & it was a train diagrammed to be working in the same place for a fair amount of time.

Mondays in the 1981 timetable have a Posession on at Finningley with trains returning to Woodyard. IIRC I set them up to sit for several hours and wait for time. When you say activate the ground frame, do you mean for the train to cross over it, or for the release to be given? "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |

I didn't relaise that it was an engineering possession, but that answers some questions for me. Would there have been anything that I missed when first starting the sim, like some notes?
