I have an issue installing SimSig on my desktop PC. It comes up with cannot create file. When I try to update SimSig it says failed to create

Any idea what is causing this problem?

with such a scanty description, it's even hard to guess whether it's an installation or an update u mind and it's not known which system you're using, all that's left is a crystal ball... try with administrator privileges I'm guessing you have windows or check ur anitvirus

Sorry, its windows 10, simnsig used to work on there, but it stopped working so i have tried re installing it.

I personally encountered a problem when I did not delete obsolete files after updating [ the loader settings ]. deleting files solved the problem of "eternal" updates.
The problem with creating the file may be due to the lack of administrator rights, sensitive directory c:xxx or their attributes, or blocked by antivirus
It's strange that it started not working without returning errors, it didn't happen to me

@Jimmyj5579 , Have you got any screenshots of the error message?
Are you an admin on this computer?
Which edition & version of Win 10 is it? (settings>system>about>windows specification)

The train now standing on platform 2, should be on the rails
