Thank you for sharing. Very interesting video. Always nice to see semaphore signals still working. There are none where I live. I also visited your website. Again, fascinating. I liked your interactive diagram of Shrub Hill. Very neat. What software did you use to draft it?

The diagram is drawn in MS Visio then exported as a GIF file. I then open that up in Adobe ImageReady (a utility bundled with Photoshop) to create the image maps - that produces an HTML fragment I can copy and paste straight into the web page.

Thanks for the information. You’ve obviously put a lot of work into this and it shows. I have MS Office Professional but not Visio. I may attempt something similar using Open Office Draw. What puts me off is having to first create a palette of all the various signal symbols etc. that I might want to use. I’ve searched the web but haven’t been able to find any readymade and sharable.

Ah great memories. Probably my favourite route when i was still driving at Oxford. Proper signalling at Worcester.
