The first of 5 timetables covering the summer 1988 period in & around the West Midlands should be available by the weekend if not before. This one will be Coventry. Subject to whether any updates on the sim are released before the timetable is finished will depend on whether some additional movements are added or not(but can be added at a later date). Once Coventry is released, I will then start on Wolverhampton, then Birmingham New Street, then Aston & finally Stafford. Watch this space.

Nice ones, Steamer and 58050. I'm currently working through Cov and Wolves. They play like a dream (until I put delays in!). Made my year when these two sims plus New Street were released. Mal. Log in to reply |

I should really ask for volunteers for testing my Worksop, South Humberside and Sheffield 2013 timetables, as they're nearly ready...

If all goes well this evening I will be sending the Coventry summer 1988 timetable to be uploaded. I've only got to add a handful of Departmental trip services to the timetable & thats about it. There will be a second edition to this timetable subject to the this timetable once the sim has been updated to allow a loco to run round in Coventry Yard which has been reported on MANTIS. I should be finished around 2100 tonight providing no glaring issues haven't been found. The timetable hasn't been tested, but there are inly 2 warnings in the analyser so far. Watch this space.

Victoria Central April 2012 Update: All passenger and ECS moves completed with dwells / turnarounds from NR's Rules Of The Route, and late running rules included. Just the freight to add in now. As I didn't collate complete freight data at the time, timings will a mixture of the info I have from 2011-2013 and will fill in any gaps using JamesN's 2009 TT. (Thanks James) If anyone happens to have the Network Rail WTT Pdf for Dec 11 - May 12 Southern region or other info regarding freight timings for the period can they PM me. I have started work on a new Kings Cross timetable. The new TT will feature platform and line closures at Kings Cross. I have so far written in all the ECS (3xxx & 5xxx) movements I am aware of and therefore currently have 131 trains, without any passenger services written in. Dave Log in to reply |

" said:Victoria Central April 2012 Update:One finishes as another one starts Just made a start on the Olympics TT as my other ones are nearly ready. About 100 trains just in the 0000 - 0500 period, with the extra Olympic services. I don't envy you making your 2012 TT, must have taken ages, as it's taking me ages to work through the TT and working with the stock diagrams, including working out what the GatEx 460's worked. I have freight section WK (thanks to Postal) however covers from May 12 obviously, unsure if there are any differences especially if freight was changed for the Olympics? Log in to reply |

I am aware there may be a site which shows what is worked by what on the southern region. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

" said:Thanks, yeah been working on it since the sim was released, with over 2000 trains before I got to the freight! Had put all of the diagrams into a CWN format when I was doing Brighton, so had quite a few already in my database, its making sure all the -1's etc match up so things can be chained together! I've got the WK section from Bill but cheers anyway. We've had to stop testing at the moment due to a unknown sim bug around saving and reloading which is causing any train involving Bromley Jcn to become invalidated after reloading. Log in to reply |

The new KX TT I am doing includes trains between KX and Hull. However it is not clear, from RTT, what class of train is used on these services. If anyone could enlighten me with the gen I would be grateful. Thanks. Dave Last edited: 12/04/2014 at 11:45 by DaveHarries Log in to reply |

All the Hull Trains ones are 5 car class 180s, the EC is a standard HST rake (comes off/on the Aberdeen IIRC).

Thanks for that. Also I have a Leeds one, terminating at Stevenage, which is referred to as an "Electric locomotive, trailing load 410 tonnes". East Coast service. Again, any ideas as to what class of motive power? Dave Log in to reply |

Forget how long GC HST rakes are nowadays.. Log in to reply |

Just started on a fictional loco-hauled TT for NEScot. I hope to give it the same 'feel' as the 1980s TTs, with the addition of trip freights calling at each location. Get ready to pull some discs off!

The EC rakes are not "standard", they are 9 cars unless that has changed recently. Their use is also not limited to non-electrified routes, they are known to run to Leeds for example.
