Exeter Tuesday May 29th 2018 Description A snapshot of Exeter taken on the 29th May 2018. Unit allocations are correct as per the day. IEPs are on Test plus Colas IM trains and a GBRF Charter. Freight categories are correct to a certain extent as very little freight happens in the area. There seems to be an issue with the first two trains of the day that come from the Dawlish Warren direction that terminate at Exeter SD and reverse as ECS. They report stopped at E37. This has not been run through completely so please test and report. All timings are as per FMK so beware Regards Log in to reply The following user said thank you: robert |

Ive been running the 2018 timetable and found the following issue: 1Z81 is too long for Dawlish Warren (UPL 129m).Train Length is 246m. 1Z81 is shown to stand from 0736 until 0745 in the UPL. 1A75 is shown to pass 1Z81 at 07/40H. Thanks. Log in to reply |

Should be 314m standage in the up loop at the Warren, 129m is the platform length.

Thanks for the suggestion. I set the stopping position to near end and 1Z81 fitted in the UPL nicely. Thanks.

Hi Chris Just a couple of points Ive noticed so far. There is a discrepancy in a couple of the the unit diagrams. If you run the timetable analysis it shows 2B76/2F35 and 2B78/2F43 as not having the same lengths. If you look at 2B76 its a 150+143 however this forms 2F35 at Barnstaple which is a 143. The other one is 2B78 shown as 2 x 143's to Barnstaple however the departure 2F43 is a 143+153. The Analysis also throws up 3Z03 terminating at Exeter SD .There seems to be two 3Z03's in the timetable ,one from Taunton which passes St Davids at 1021(no other entries) and the other which leaves Riverside at 1018 passing also at 1021.There also seem to be multiple paths for 3Q53. Hi, This is a nice busy Exeter timetable. I discovered some small bugs in it, which I don't see mentioned in the thread yet: - 5L72 needs to stop at the 'near end' otherwise 2F49 doesn't fit into the same platform. - A few trains have Exmouth Jn as reversal point. These will come to a stand at EJ8LOS from where they can't be routed back. This needs to be Exmouth Jn EJ7/EJ20 (rev) which allows them to reverse in the headshunt. 5T25 could better reverse at Exeter Central EJ730 instead. - 1Z18 and 6M51 conflict in the Taunton area. 2E52 cannot arrive on P2 at Exeter St Davids as it is coming from Central. As it'll stand at the station for over an hour, it deserves a shunt move to P2. edit: 1V66 cannot pass Taunton as both P2 (5C89) and P3 (1A37) are occupied at the time.
