When playing with the Westbury and Swindon boxes you get bathhampton jnc, which then leads to bath spa outside of the maps, I'm wondering if there ever was/is a box that controls that

Once you reached Bathampton, you then went onto time interval working. Jokes aside. Yes, there was once a sim of Bristol, covering the PSB and St Andrews, but got withdrawn with the release of loader V5 (I think it was) where all EXE sims got withdrawn. James Log in to reply |

It would be a nice sim to see. This and Gloucester would finish the GWML nicely! I remember back in late 2018 (I think) the new Bristol sim being mentioned - is this still in "active" development? Log in to reply |

I had one ocassion to bring it in my first box. Telephone lines were down all week and the the bells and block instrument died. However the S&T retified the fault just before I was going to send in the first train, phew! I guess the Rule was abandoned because, it (was) could be very unsafe, but also because of the advent of mobile phones. Professionalism mean nothing around a bunch of Amateur wannabees! It was in a set of explanatory notes that came out at the same time as the Regs changed; if memory serves, it would have been at the time of the change from the old (1972) 'Block Regs' book to the loose-leaf version (would that have been somewhere between 1984 & '86?)Of course they were the days when passengers were priority and providing a train service was paramount, unlike today.
