Shunt move after making a mistake. 01/08/2024 at 15:44 #157999

Hi everyone.

I was playing Huddersfield simulation and incorrectly routed a train that was terminating at Huddesfield into platform 1 instead of platform 4. You can't set a route for the service to then leave Huddesfield heading west as there isn't any points to allow it to cross back over to the correct line but there is a limit of shunt at the end of the platform and then a sub signal that i could use to route it back into the correct platform.

My question is can you make a train complete a shunt move like that or do i just have to remove the service from the timetable completly to clear platform 1.

Thank you.

F2 menu - right click on train - abandon timetable - route to shunt signal, reverse and reinstate timetable
