If the route is set from signal 60. (St Davids platform 4 down starter). And you then set the route from 56 into platform 4 it allows the shunt signal to clear. Is this correct? Struggled to recreate this. Then again, I only occupied the track circuit [THJ] via F11 so the whole situation wasn't exactly the same. Where were you setting the route from, from Signal 60 to 62 or to LOS 658? What train was in Platform 4 and what train was standing at 56? OK, after speaking with Stephen Fulcher and headshot119 on TeamSpeak, I've been filled in a bit more on this. Track circuits THJ, TZC, THK and THD were apparently occupied at the time and the route was set into Platform 4. Whilst I still couldn't recreate it from there, but I dropped the route from Signal 60 and set the route from Signal 56 and the shunt cleared. Huddersfield Control isn't universal. I don't know the situation at Exeter. I remember sitting on Coventry station many a time, watching the Cross Country leave platform 2 for Leamington with the DMU from Nuneaton arriving and following it along the platform as the XC departed.
