Greetings all
Stumbled across this place by accident so I thought I'd join up. Name's Rich and I work in the rail industry (like many of you, I would imagine!). In fact, on the 'Marylebone' screens... see the re-doubled section between Bicester North and Aynho Jcn? That's my signal spacing (drew the scheme plan) and my signalling control (wrote the SSI data). So any problems, blame me!

See youse around.

Hi, and welcome! So why is that interlocking called BICESTRN instead of MARBONE6 to match the rest of the IECC?! I was having this discussion with somebody just the other day.

Ahhh, that's because SSIs have to be named according to the geographical area they cover these days, rather than denoting part of a group of interlockings. I had originally intended to use a MARBONEx name for consistency with the others, but was not allowed to do so.

I've spent many an hour working with your data.
Nice to meet you.

I hope you haven't spent many an hour swearing at it and muttering "Who wrote this ****?"

Hi Rich

Welcome to SimSig. I'm one of those pesky principles testers that loves to send designers test logs

Not been involved in Marleybone so doubt you'd of been on the receiving end of one of my test logs

Oh, I love test logs. Especially the ones I can answer with either a) "Data is correct to SSI8003 part xx" or b) "Control table error"
